I'm Jeff. I spent years quoting and running trade jobs in Queensland, under my own QBCC licence. The work on site was never the problem. The paperwork at the end of the day was.

Dinkum Docs is the set of templates I'd have wanted when I was on the tools. A quote that works out its own GST. An invoice that doesn't make you retype the job. A costing sheet that tells you whether the job actually paid.

Why plain spreadsheets

No subscription, no logins and no app that changes on you. You get a file, it's yours, and it works on the day the internet doesn't. If you can type in a box you can use it.

What this isn't

The templates aren't accounting software, tax advice or legal advice. They help you get the paperwork done faster and more consistently. Your accountant should still decide how your business handles GST and tax.
